Covid-19 Emergency Grant

At the Community Foundation of Dickinson County, we believe in the adaptability, resiliency, and indomitable spirit of our community. In response to the outbreak, we will provide mini-grants to assistance non-profits that are addressing needs created by the COVID-19 pandemic.

It is our goal to quickly and responsibly release funds within 48-hours to non-profit organizations that are meeting critical needs within our community. 

The Covid-19 Emergency Grant grant cycle is now open. Grant applications will be accepted until 12/31/2020.


Since 1999, the Community Foundation has granted over 6 million dollars to area nonprofits. The Community Foundation has two (2) granting cycles – Spring and Fall. If you are an area non-profit (or have a fiscal agent) in Dickinson County, please take the time to fill out our grant application. We are here to support you!

The Herington Community Legacy Fund was established in 2019 for the express purpose of assisting nonprofits in the Herington area. Nonprofits that meet the required eligibility may apply for both the Herington Legacy Grant and the Community Foundation's Spring Cycle simultaneously.
