The Community Foundation of Dickinson County is pleased to announce that Haley Jones has joined the Foundation as its new Director of Operations and Strategy.

In this newly established leadership role, Jones will help oversee the Foundation’s internal operations while also working closely with Executive Director Elizabeth Weese to advance organizational priorities, strengthen systems and processes, and support the Foundation’s continued growth throughout Dickinson County.

“As the Foundation continues to grow in both assets and the scope of our work, it is important that we continue building the organizational capacity necessary to serve our donors, nonprofit partners, and communities well,” said Weese. “Haley brings the skills, perspective, and leadership we need as we look toward the future. Her role will allow us to be even more intentional about how we operate, plan, and respond to opportunities across Dickinson County.”

As Director of Operations and Strategy, Jones will work across the Foundation’s programs and administrative functions, helping coordinate organizational initiatives, improve efficiencies, support strategic planning, and ensure that the Foundation’s day-to-day operations align with its long-term goals.

The addition of Jones also reflects the continued evolution of the Community Foundation as its charitable assets, programs, donor services, grantmaking, scholarships, community partnerships, and impact investing initiatives continue to expand.

“We want to remain a Foundation that is accessible, responsive, and forward-thinking,” Weese said. “Adding Haley to our leadership team strengthens our ability to do that while continuing to provide the high level of service our donors and communities expect.”

Jones will work alongside the Foundation’s existing staff and will play an important role in helping coordinate both current programs and future initiatives.  “I am incredibly honored to join the Community Foundation of Dickinson County and excited for the opportunity to serve a county that has been home my entire life.  I believe in the power of people working together to make their community stronger, and I look forward to building more relationships and opportunities that will benefit the growth of our county,” said Jones.
