Community Foundation awards $55,098 grant to Hospice of Dickinson County

The Community Foundation of Dickinson County announces the award of a grant in the amount of $55,098 to Hospice of Dickinson County, made possible by the Orban and Shirley Hass estate fund, held at the Community Foundation. The donation will bolster the vital work of Hospice of Dickinson county in providing compassionate end-of-life care to individuals and families in our community. 

The legacy gift bestowed to the Community Foundation of  Dickinson County by the Haas family exemplifies their enduring commitment to supporting organizations that enhance the well-being of our community. Through their generosity, the Haas family has left a lasting impact on the lives of countless individuals served by Hospice of Dickinson County. "We extend our deepest gratitude to the Haas family and all those who have supported our organization, " said Danielle Ganter, director of Hospice Dickinson County. "As members of this community, we are honored to serve our neighbors, friends, teachers, and colleagues. The Support we receive enables us to deliver the highest level of care to those in need, just as the Haas family experienced and valued." 

Hospice of Dickinson County is dedicated to providing comfort, dignity, and quality of life for patients and their families facing life-limiting illnesses. Their compassionate team, comprised of community members, is committed to upholding the values of empathy, respect, and dignity in every aspect of care delivery.

The grant from the Community Foundation of Dickinson County will enable Hospice of Dickinson County to continue delivering compassionate care and support services to patients and families, ensuring that they receive the comfort and dignity they deserve during life's final journey.
